Swedish Floral Oil Painting Vintage Framed Still Life
Swedish Floral Oil Painting Vintage Framed Still Life
A beautiful original Swedish floral still life, painted in oil on canvas and presented in its original gilded wooden frame.
The flowers are painted with loose, expressive brushstrokes in soft pink, cream, ochre, blue and burgundy. The warm, timeworn gold frame complements the painting beautifully.
Signed “PIA H-K” in the lower-left corner. This signature is associated with Swedish artist Pia Hesselmark-Campbell (1910–2013), although the work has not been independently authenticated and is therefore offered as attributed to the artist.
